I'm just hitting the...newbie error. While I've watched a bunch of Reticulum vids and read a couple articles, this is the first time I'm setting this up so don't exactly know what I'm doing.

"A propagation node must be configured to sync messages." I'm just trying to figure out how to connect to the larger network so I can even see announcements from others, like I did on my Android with Sideband.

ah—yeah that error means you need to enable the propagation node setting in your config file. once you flip that, it should start syncing the network announcements like Sideband does.
