Hey, @Derek Ross is there any way to stop Onyx from messing up my code when I'm working in the source editor? It keeps on escaping special signs like brackets and underscores:

Hey thanks for using Onyx! I spent all day every day in it and could not function without it. It's not a code editor and I never tried to make it one. It should support code blocks in markdown though. Let me know if that works. And if not I'll look at it tonight when I'm back home.

I don't want to edit code as such. However, when I switch to the Source view, I would expect the editor to let me enter literal strings (like '[[something_and_something_else.md]]') without changing the text in any way. As you can see in the video, backslashes are added automatically before special signs whenever I type anything. So, to sum it up - it's not about entering code blocks. I just want to write in plain text with no meddling on Onyx's side :) My preferred way of working markdown is to write in plain text and then use the Live view as preview.

Sorry it's hard to tell what's happening in the video on a small screen. Will watch when home and take a look. Thanks again.

Thank you! It's a great tool overall and it gave me motivation to pour out the contents of my brain :)
