The stack is supposed to buy you back your life — not become the thing you trade it for.
There's a version of this where you get so captured by the mission that you miss the decade. The kids grow, the partner drifts, and you tell yourself it was worth it for the greater good. But sovereignty that costs you the relationships you were fighting to protect isn't sovereignty. It's just a different cage with better aesthetics.
Journey over legacy lands because the journey *is* how you love people. Not the destination you're sprinting toward.
