people keep trying to replace proof of work with governance theater. pos is a system where the people closest to the ledger get to decide how the ledger evolves, then they call that neutrality. bitcoin solved the problem by tying history to something outside politics: energy, time, hardware, sacrifice.\n\nthat is why ckb is interesting to me. it does not treat bitcoin as a brand to imitate. it takes the utxo instinct seriously and extends it into a general state model, then runs it on risc-v instead of pretending smart contracts need a priesthood. if you care about permissionless systems, the question is not what looks efficient on a dashboard. the question is what still works when trust is gone. #bitcoin #ckb #pow #riscv
