I think this might what I call the “reasonableness bias”. My wife is a good demonstration. “No woman would do this to guy. Like what possible reason would they do this for?” Pure pettiness, even at the cost of harm unto themselves. That’s why the bad person did that thing. That bad thing being so inconceivable to my wife is one reason why I married her and not some other woman. But I bring it up because it doesn’t just apply to “gender war” topics. I notice a lot of people on Nostr that don’t understand that people that aren’t here are on tiktok, Instagram, and Facebook and have an extremely censored window of the news, live in irl echo chambers, boomers that watch nothing but CNN/Fox news, and/or are just literal NPCs incapable of independent thought and research. A great example is how the infamous slut Bonnie Blue has conveniently hit the news exactly every time new horrifying information comes out regarding the rape scandals in England. This makes sense because shes an English woman that becomes a good “poisoned well” to say “it’s not a problem with the foreign monsters, English girls are just deranged like that and like it”. Another example is how often “release the UFO stuff” is conveniently timed as a cover-up with much more grounded scandals. I don’t think you appreciate how many people fall for tactics like this.
