what stage of life is listening to Bon Iver it's very enjoyable atm. i'm resisting the temptation to look up who he is -- too much chance of there being something that ruins the whole thing. the music just popped up one day and i clicked on it. reminds me of "the National" that i listened to back in 2022--which led me out of a phase of listening to female artists to more male voices. (ok it was taylor swift that had the national on an albym--not sure what changed back then with music preference. but something shifted.) there's a hint of leather, smoke, life lessons learned, sawdust, maybe some redemption or just resignation to jack reacher-esque existence.
