😷 This shit is stronger than I thought. I believed that my immune system is strong but this illness take me down for longer than I expected. My husband also get this crap from Saturday and out baby boy has high fever from this night. I know that he is strong baby and it will probably pass soon but I feel so sorry for him (I also cried because of it - I hate when I feel powerless..). So now he sleeping on me and I tried to breastfeed as much as possible meanwhile coughing my lungs out.. How did you feel when you experience your child first illness? Hopefully we will be better soon πŸ’ͺ🌱

You are not powerless, that breastmilk is both nutrition and medicine; whatever your body is doing to fight off the illness is also supplied to the baby that way. Good luck

the first time~? i remember being a bit worried when the little one first had a high fever, but i was assured that things would be okay. Wifey was worried enough for the both of us lol. She had similar feelings as you doβ€”feelings of powerlessness. i found it difficult at the time to provide the assurance She needed to ease Her anxiety. there was nothing that could really be done except be with Her as She sat with it...

It's so hard to see our babies suffer πŸ˜‘ hang in there mama! Steam can help with the coughing.
