stupid people have the need to believe they are smart stupid people think they are intelligent when they "know" things ... doesn't matter if what they know is something anybody can look up in under 5 seconds like what city is the capital of Belarus or something. if they "know" that Minsk is the capital of Belarus they feel they are "smart" and thus cults are based around people trying to feel smart about "knowing" something. examples: Turdsla cult based around people "knowing" that Turdsla is so futuristic and moar advanceder than "legacy" automakers ( all BS of course ) Buttcoin cult based around people "knowing" that government bad, money fiat, talking about math makes people think you're smart ... some of these things actually true but do not lead to the conclusions espoused by Buttcoiners basically all movements are just a bunch of retards coming together to congratulate each other on how intelligent they are and sucking each other's balls
