Good question. It's something we are thinking about too. We just started this initiative, so we're open to suggestions on how to keep them accepting. Maybe another push that pays out (10,000 sats) if people go and verify they still accept?
For roughly 2 years we've had about 4 other businesses accepting bitcoin, and we host meetups at those locations at least monthly. We have a very strong community of bitcoiners that are loyal to these businesses. The reality is that there is not even close to enough people regularly spending bitcoin for it to be meaningful for the business, at least short term. That's why we are excited about this initiative!
Our hope is to show the community that bitcoin is a very valid everyday money. Thus, people will talk about it, get more, spend more, and consider accepting it themselves.
