I was just saying in another thread about how I think we're in a pretty unique moment in history, where censorship is effectively impossible, but what remains is "cognitive biases" that are so powerful so as to be (at least someone) impervious to new facts. So we're seeing things like ICE terror that strongly echo moments in history like 1930's Germany, but unlike that historical precedent, information isn't being "suppressed" per se... It's all out in the open for anyone to see, but the battle is over how we interpret it.
