Poll support incoming
But not zap polls, my opinion is this is an anti-user pattern:
1) why should the poller get all the money?
2) why should most money win poll? This isn't America

Let see how it goes:) it is already on jumble and pollerama, perhaps the bot attacks will only become apparent when all/most major clients have zapless polls.
Literally no one uses amethyst zap polls, so it's not like that is the solution.
Perhaps the option to choose between zap/zapless is good? (Although I'd never want to zap a poll and there never make one like that either).

Not even that. On WoT polls, the poll results changes for each observer or each algo. It's by definition non-cobsensus.
On zaps, it's all based on money.
@Vitor Pamplona do zap polls work with zap splits? So you could redirect the payments to someone else?
It would be neat if you could set different targets for the different poll options actually. Have people voted on which song they like better and the artist gets the zaps? You could use it for all kinds of contests.
Looks like they do actually. I just did a test with a poll, and a 100% split to you, it sent. Did you get it?
Related bug report: user search in zap splits seems to be broken, nothing happens when you type in names or npub. I've got the latest search relays, and it works elsewhere in the app π
