After you activate Web of Trust (Settings), you can filter out all those pesky spam notifications in #Nostria. Did you know you can search your notifications? Very useful to find back to something that happened earlier.

How does that work? Are the notifications stored on the device? What sends notifications do you have some background service that does that?

These notifications is processed locally in @Nostria and stored locally, where you can filter and search them. Nostria also has some basic web push notifications at the moment, though only works for installed web app, not for app-store installed apps, working on fixing that.

Are live streams, or articles, or other feed sorted in a timeline only frame, or are they algorithmically lined up in some way? Just as per default settings 🙏

In the toolbar on each feature, you can filter based upon your lists. For example your Following, or your Favorites. Streams are simply sorted by date, same with articles.

There is an ecosystem of Web of Trust providers that is building solutions for this, Nostria will try to support multiple of them. It's a fairly new development, but it's super important to fight spam and help users have a better experience on their social network. Different providers weigh different metrics, depends on who follows who, who receives zaps, who you interact with, etc. It's a personalized score from your perspective, you will always have perfect score.
