There is unfortunately a lot of users who have dead relays in their relay lists. Nostria has added filter for these in the app to avoid exhausting resources connecting to these. We also made a dedicated monitoring service that will monitor if they come back and to verify we don't add valid relays to the filter. Please take a minute to check your relay list, it will help everyone on the network if you keep an up-to-date list of relays. Check the monitor status here: https://monitor.nostria.app/ #nostria

Awesome, relays is a huge learning curve when people first come to nostr so anything that makes this easier to manage is good for user retention. I haven't tried your app yet(my cheap phone has very limited onboard storage and i need to delete other apps first) But I will eventually get around to trying nostria. Keep at it.

What's bad about the relays is you can add them even if they are paid or aren't working etc. I added vitor's relays and he said it's his personal relay and my notes are not getting saved on them. I always thought it was working. I always wonder.. what other relays I have on my list that are working or something. I wish the relays were a bit smarter.

Clients need to improve a lot on this, relays that are not working well should be notified to the user and then guided through a verification to validate that it's not longer working, or it's not storing the events, etc. and then suggesting to remove or replace that relay.

Example of issues that must be handled by all clients: [WARN] Invalid relay URL (contains comma): wss://relay,damus.io/
